6:45 AM - Meet your escort at Peoria Charter Coach waiting room at the corner of NE Adams & Alexander Streets. 7:00 AM - Depart Peoria for the "Windy City" – Chicago, Illinois. Relax and enjoy Continental Breakfast* aboard the coach as we travel. We’ll make a quick rest stop enroute. 11:00 AM - Arriving in Chicago, we pick up our Step-on Guide* before making our first stop for a tour. 11:30 AM - We arrive at the Chicago Board of Trade* for a tour*. The Board of Trade is located in a landmark Art Deco building right in the heart of "The Loop". Have you ever wondered what the hand signals mean, or how the traders keep track of all the action in the "pits"? You’ll get these answers and much more during our visit. While here, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch* amidst the colored jackets of traders in the "Seller’s Market" cafeteria. (PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED) *Note: We may eat lunch before we visit the floor. 2:00 PM - Following an educational experience at the Board of Trade, we re-board the coach and we’re off for a "Driving Tour"* of the Chicago area. We’ll learn all kinds of history about this famous city as we travel to our next tour. 3:00 PM - Our final stop will be the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank* for a tour*. Here you’ll learn about the money supply, the design of the new U.S. currency and what causes the prime rate to jump around. During this tour you’ll hear about the rich & famous residents of Chicago and how money makes the city go round. (PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED) 4:00 PM - After dropping our guide, we’re off for home. We’ll make a 1 hr. meal stop along the way. You’ll also enjoy Pretzel’s & Soda* en route home. 9:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
