5:45 AM CT - Meet your escort at Peoria Charter Coach waiting room at the corner of NE Adams & Alexander Streets. 6:00 AM CT - Depart Peoria for Danville, Indiana. Enjoy Continental Breakfast* along the way to Indianapolis and make a break stop en route. (Don’t forget to set your watches ahead an hour as we enter the Eastern Time Zone at the Indiana border.) 12:00 PM ET - We’ll start off with lunch* at The Mayberry Cafe*, which is a local favorite, and is a tribute to the Andy Griffith Show, complete with show memorabilia and old episodes playing in the background. While we are enjoying our meal Soy Creations* will demonstrate how to make your own natural Vegetable Soy Candle*. Learn how clean, healthy and fragrant soy candles can freshen up any room or outdoor living space. You will create and keep a 5 oz. soy candle*. (12:00 – 2:45 PM) 3:15 PM ET - The afternoon will be spent at Hilltop Orchids*, which is truly a hidden gem! This family owned and operated business boasts over 65,000 orchids at their greenhouse with at least 500 in bloom year round. Your tour will feature an overview of orchids, tips for growing and caring of one in your home. You will receive a 1/4 lb fertilizer*, and orchid seedling*, and a $5 credit toward the purchase of an orchid. 5:30 PM ET - Depart from our "Green Spree" and head for home making a quick meal stop. (Don’t forget to set your watches back to Central Time Zone upon re-entering Illinois) 9:00 PM CT - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
