Meet Muscatine & Celebration Belle

8:15 AM - Meet your escort at Peoria Charter Coach waiting room at the corner of NE Adams & Alexander Streets. 8:30 AM - Depart Peoria headed northwest to Muscatine, Iowa. We'll make a break stop in Galesburg before picking up passengers and heading on to Muscatine. Noon - Arriving in Muscatine, we'll stop at the Muscatine History & Industry Center for a tour*. The main floor is devoted to exploring Muscatine's role in the pearl button industry. Muscatine, at one time, was considered the Pearl Button Capital of the world, producing 37% of the world's annual output of buttons! The second floor displays exhibits highlighting the HNI Corporation and Stanley Consultants. 1:00 PM - Enjoy a Cookout Lunch* along the banks of the Mississippi. Grilled pork chop sandwich, 2 sides, dessert & iced tea or lemonade are on the menu. 2:00 PM - Following lunch we'll have some "free" time to enjoy the Historic Downtown district for shopping, or you might choose to sit & enjoy the breeze by the river. 4:00 PM - Board the Celebration Belle Riverboat for a 4-hour cruise* up the river from Muscatine to Moline. There will be live music, an afternoon snack, a full hot buffet meal and an evening snack on board the boat*. You can take in the view from any of the 3 decks but the best view is on the upper deck. 8:30 PM - As we dock in Moline, our coach will be waiting to take us home. 10:30 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
