7:00 AM - Meet your escort at Peoria Charter Coach waiting room at the corner of NE Adams & Alexander Streets. 7:15 AM - Depart Peoria picking up along the way as we travel west into Indiana to Myers Dinner Theatre. Enjoy a Continental Breakfast* as we travel. A rest area stop will be made before reaching Champaign. Don’t forget to set your watches ahead an hour upon entering Indiana and the Eastern Time Zone. 11:30 AM - We arrive in Hillsboro and have time to freshen up prior to being seated for a delicious lunch* and a fantastic show – Smoke on the Mountain*. The year is 1938, it’s Saturday night in Mount Pleasant, NC. and the Reverend Oglethorpe has invited the Sanders Family Singers to provide an upliftin’ evening of singin’ and witnessin’. The audience is invited to pull up a pew and join in the rollicking good time. More than two dozen songs, many of them vintage pop hymns, and hilarious stories from the more or less devout Sanders provide a richly entertaining evening that has audiences clapping, singing, laughing and cheering. 3:30-4 PM - Its time to board the coach and depart towards home after a great day reliving the past. We’ll make a fast food stop in Champaign after dropping any passengers who might board there. (Don’t forget to set your watches back to Central Time Zone upon re-entering Illinois) 7:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
