Other Multi-Day Tour - 7 Days / 6 Nights June 1 - 7, 2008

Day #1 - Sun., June 1st:

7:00 AM - Depart from your designated pickup location at the time listed on your final confirmation, which you will receive 2 weeks prior to departure. We're headed for Nashville, Tennessee - our first overnight stop. Enjoy Continental Breakfast* aboard the coach as we travel to our first overnight destination.

5:00 PM - Arrive at our hotel in Tennessee where you'll have time to relax and enjoy a leisurely evening. Dinner is on your own this evening.


Day #2 - Mon., June 2nd:

Breakfast* is served at the hotel this morning before we set off for another travel day to get
to our destination, Savannah, Georgia.

8:30 AM - It's time to check out, board the coach and depart eastward. We'll make rest & meal stops along the way as needed. *Please set your watches ahead an hour as we enter
the Eastern Time Zone.

5:00 PM - We'll stop in Georgia for Dinner*. You'll also have a little time to walk off dinner in a local Mall.

6:30 PM - We're back on the road headed for our hotel for the next 4 nights in Georgia.

9:15 PM - We arrive at our hotel for the evening.


Day #3 - Tues., June 3rd:

Enjoy a Hot Continental Breakfast* this morning here at the hotel.

8:15 AM - This morning we'll enjoy a guided tour* of St. Simons Island where you can take a stroll among moss-draped oaks or shop at the interesting boutiques and specialty shops in the historic area. Lunch is on your own today with free time following at St. Simons Island Pier.

2:00 PM - Afternoon finds us touring* the history rich Jekyll Island. We'll board a tram for a narrated tour through the "Historic District" and then see how the nation's wealthiest citizens like J.P. Morgan and William Rockefeller lived and played - including a stop at what was once the exclusive "Millionaires Club*".

5:00 PM - It's time to depart for a delicious Dinner Buffet*.

7:00 PM - We return to the hotel for the evening.


Day #4 - Wed., June 4th:

Hot Continental Breakfast* is included at the hotel this morning and then we're off for another day of touring.

8:15 AM - We'll spend a lovely day in magnificent Beaufort, SC - "Queen of the Carolina
Sea Islands". Beaufort's history dates as far back as the 1500's. Its striking mansions and scenery served as the backdrop for several major motion pictures including "The Big Chill, "The Prince of Tides, and "Forrest Gump". We'll tour the Parris Island Marine base, where 22,000 men & women complete their training each year. Highlights of the tour include the Iwo Jima Monument, Parade Field and Parris Island Museum.

Noon - Lunch is on your own today at a specified location by our Step-0n Guide from this morning's tour.

2:00 PM - Depart Beaufort headed to Hilton Head, SC. No trip to this area would be complete if we didn't visit the beach so here's your chance to roll up your pant legs, get rid
of the socks & shoes and "stroll the beach". For those who aren't beach bums, you'll enjoy free time for shopping in this quaint area.

4:45 PM - Dinner* is included this evening at The Crazy Crab Restaurant on Jarvis Creek, here in Hilton Head.

6:30 PM - What a great afternoon just relaxing and enjoying the area. It's time to head back to the hotel for the evening.


Day #5 - Thurs., June 5th:

Another Hot Continental Breakfast* awaits us this morning before we enjoy a fantastic tour of genteel, beautiful and historic Savannah, the "Belle of Georgia".

9:00 AM - We're off this morning to the Savannah Visitor Center* where you can Find tips, tour maps, restrooms, refreshments and smiles.

10:30 AM - It's time to depart for Savannah's Historic River Street where you can enjoy "free time" and grab lunch on your own. Enjoy free time on historic River Street, featuring unique 18th century "ballast stone" streets and 19th century cotton warehouses that are now home to fine eateries, unusual shops and antique galleries.

1:30 PM - We meet our tour guide* where you'll enjoy a Guided Tour* of beautiful Savannah. You'll see architectural marvels, beautiful oak-lined streets and lovely "town squares".

4:00 PM - Next we'll enjoy a tour* of one of Savannah's Historic and famous homes - the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. Juliette Magill Kinzie Gordon Low was the founder of the Girl Scouts in America. Juliette was born on October 31, 1860, in Savannah, Georgia. Forty years before her birth, the Gordon house was constructed. Located in the heart of the Savannah historic district, the "Birthplace" as it is commonly called, was Savannah's first National Historic Landmark.

In 1953, Girl Scouts of the USA purchased the house from the Gordon family. It was opened on October 19, 1956, as a program center and a historic house museum.

6:00 PM - Enjoy a mouth watering Dinner Buffet* this evening here in Savannah.

8:30 PM - Return to the hotel for the evening.


Day #6 - Fri. June 6th:

Enjoy a Hot Continental Breakfast* at the hotel before departing for Macon, Georgia.

8:30 AM - It's time to check out, board the coach and depart for Macon, Georgia! We'll
enjoy lunch on your own as we travel. We'll also make rest & meal stops along the way.

12:45 PM - Arriving in Macon, we'll make a stop for a Guided Tour* of the Cannonball House and kitchens. The house was constructed as a winter home for Judge Asa Holt and
his wife, Mary Palmer Holt. In 1864, a Hotchkiss shell fired from across the Ocmulgee
River struck the house. Visit the Antebellum Museum, the Military Museum and the
Original Structure Kitchen.

2:15 PM - It's time to depart towards our overnight stop in Tennessee. We'll make rest & meal stops along the way. Don't forget to set your watches back to Central Time tonight .

8:00 PM - We arrive at our hotel in Tennessee where we'll get a good night's sleep before departing on our final leg towards home.


Day #7 - Sat., June 7th:

Enjoy Breakfast* before we depart for home

8:30 AM - We check out and depart for home chatting with our new friends about all the fun things you've done, the great sights you've seen and where your next trip will take you. We'll make rest & meal stops as we travel today.

6:00 PM - This is the approximate arrival time back in Peoria. Please refer to the final itinerary for the return time to your specific pickup location.

*Days in Savannah area may be switched around to different days. Therefore this itinerary
is subject to change.
