6:15 AM - Meet your escort at Peoria Charter Coach waiting room at the corner of NE Adams & Alexander Streets. 6:30 AM - Depart Peoria for St. Louis making a 1/2 hour break stop along the way. 10:30 AM - Arriving in St. Louis, we'll enjoy Grant's Farm. See baby Clydesdales, watch amazing dogs and enjoy bird and elephant behavior shows. A trackless train carries families around the farm's wildlife preserve and stops at the petting zoo. Lunch is on your own today; you can get it at Grant's Farm or at the St. Louis Zoo. 1:30 PM - Depart Grant's Farm going to St. Louis Zoo. 2:00 PM - We'll arrive at the St. Louis Zoo, which is a great place to not only enjoy a variety of animals, but also to enjoy these fun attractions: Conservation Carousel, Insectaruim, Zooline Railroad, Sea Lion Show, Children's Zoo, Wild Adventure Ride, and Deep Sea 3-D Movie. Explore more than 700 free, hands-on exhibits on environment, aviation, technology and more. There is a nominal fee for the James S. McDonnell Planetarium's Space Station experience, OMNIMAX(r) Theater and special traveling exhibitions. 4:30 PM - Departing the St. Louis Zoo headed for home. We'll make an hour meal stop along the way home. 9:30 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria. Ticket information for Grant's Farm & St. Louis Zoo is listed below.
