Day #1 - Thurs., August 7th: 7:00 AM - Depart Peoria headed east towards New York City! Enjoy a Continental Breakfast* on board the coach as we travel. We'll make rest & meal stops en route to our overnight destination. Don't forget to set your watches ahead an hour upon entering Indiana as we're now in the Eastern Time Zone. Day #2 - Fri., August 8th: 7:30 AM - A Continental Breakfast* awaits you at the hotel this morning. 8:30 AM - We load up and depart for our New Jersey hotel. Rest and meal stops will be made en route. 5:00 PM - This evening, sit down to a delicious Dinner* at a restaurant along the way before we continue on to our hotel. 7:45 PM - We arrive at our home for the next 3 nights. Enjoy the remainder of the evening. Day #3 - Sat., August 9th: 7:30 AM - Continental Breakfast* is served at the hotel. 8:30 AM - Depart for "The Big Apple" - New York City also known as the 'City That Never Sleeps'. 10:30 AM - Our Guide* will meet us at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan for a tour* of New York City taking in such sites as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Wall Street, Ground Zero and so much more. Lunch is on your own today. 4:15 PM - We drop off our guide after a wonderful day learning all about this magnificent city. (You'll walk 2 blocks to the restaurant we're using for dinner) 4:30 PM - Dinner* is served at a local restaurant. 6:00 PM - You'll have some "free time" to explore the area before departing for Times Square. 7:00 PM - We drop passengers off in Times Square where those who are taking in a Broadway Show can disperse to the various theaters. Theatre tickets are at your own expense and should be reserved way ahead of time. The tickets will be non-refundable. The remainder of us will just enjoy "free time" in Times Square. 10:30 PM - We depart for the hotel for the evening. Day #4 - Sun., August 10th: 8:30 AM - Enjoy another Continental Breakfast* at the hotel. 9:30 AM - We depart for the city as our adventure continues where we left off yesterday with a Guided Tour*. 10:30 AM - We again meet our guide at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan to continue touring this historical city. 2:30 PM - We arrive for an exciting New York City Harbor Cruise*. See & hear about the Majestic Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the historic immigration center, and the World Financial Center. Stare up at the awesome skyscrapers that make the fabulous skyline come alive. Note: We will not be stopping at the Statue or Ellis Island - this is a cruise and you will view them from a distance. 4:15 PM - We disembark the boat and continue our tour of the city. 6:00 PM - We arrive at a local club in New York City for Dinner & Entertainment*. 8:00 PM - It's time to depart for the hotel for the evening. Relax & enjoy the ride. Day #5 - Mon., August 11th: 7:30 AM - A Continental Breakfast* awaits us before we check out. 8:30 AM - It's time to board the coach and depart for Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and the Plaza Centre Antique Gallery for a tour*. 12:30 PM - Enjoy "free time" to explore the Plaza which contains an ensemble of antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, arts & crafts, retail & gift shops. Stop at the Victorian Rose to pickup a map & a coupon book. Lunch is on your own while here. 3:00 PM - It's time to depart for our overnight stay in Ohio. Dinner will be on your own en route. 8:30 PM - We arrive at our hotel for the night. Relax and refresh for our final leg home tomorrow. Day #6 - Tues., August 12th: 7:30 AM - A final Continental Breakfast* awaits us before we depart for home. 8:30 AM - We check out, board the coach and depart for home. We'll make rest & meal stops along the way as needed. Don't forget to set your watches back an hour as we enter Illinois and the Central Time Zone. 6:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
