7:00 AM - Depart from your designated pickup location at the time listed on your final confirmation, which you will receive 2 weeks prior to departure. We'll make a break stop as we travel to Elmhurst. 11:30 AM - We arrive in Elmhurst at the Diplomat West where a delicious lunch* awaits us. We'll arrive in time for you to freshen up prior to being seated for lunch. The moment you step through the door, a quiet elegance greets you. Noon - Find your seat for a fantastic afternoon of food and fun. Today's featured lunch is sauerbraten with gingersnap gravy, red cabbage, oven brown potatoes, soup & salad, rolls, butter, ice cream, coffee & tea. What a great way to get into the "Octoberfest" theme. Enjoy the music of The Alpiners* as they entertain us with a mix of evergreens and pop tunes from the 40's to the 70's as well as some current tunes from the USA. Whether you prefer a Viennese Waltz, a Tango, a country Cha-Cha, West Coast Swing, Standards from the 30's/40's or a rock tune from the 50's/60's, an Italian Mazurka, or a Cajun or Tex Mex tune, even Mambo#5 & more, it doesn't matter, there's a selection for everyone. 3:15 PM - What a great afternoon! Unfortunately, its time to board our awaiting coach and depart towards home making a fast food stop along the way. 7:30 PM - This is the approximate arrival time back in Peoria. Please refer to the final itinerary for the return time to your specific pickup location.
